DW Spectrum User Manual

In some circumstances you may want to disable recording of the primary or secondary stream.

For instance, it may make sense to disable recording of the primary stream to save storage space and instead set the recording type to "Motion Only" and "Low" quality. Or, if the secondary stream bitrate is too high, it may make sense to disable recording so that the DW Spectrum server still performs motion detection but it does not record it.

To disable recording of a specific stream

1.Open the Camera Settings > Expert tab.

2.Check Do not archive primary stream or Do not archive secondary stream.

3.Apply changes.
