Metrics

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Metrics are parameters of different components of the System (Servers, cameras, storages, etc.) that can give valuable information about the state of this component. All metrics are aimed at helping investigate problems that could happen during system exploitation. Below are some examples of the parameters you will have access to for each component type:

System metrics

The number of Servers, camera channels, storage locations, and users, etc.

Server metrics

CPU/RAM usage, camera channels, server threads, network connections, etc

Camera metrics

Vendor, model, firmware, video quality settings, etc.

Storage metrics

Capacity, read/write speed, issues, etc.

Network Interfaces metrics

IP addresses and i/o rates, etc.

note Note: All metrics are erased after the server has been restarted.
