DW Spectrum User Manual

Non-IP cameras such as built-in or USB webcams and Raspberry Pi cameras are supported on Windows, Ubuntu Linux, and Raspbian operating systems with dual-streaming and audio support. If the Autodetect USB and web cameras option is enabled (see "Configuring Server Settings"), these cameras will be detected automatically, added as a DW Spectrum resource, and available for live and recorded viewing.

When the DW Spectrum System is installed on a Raspberry Pi machine, with the addition of a Raspberry Pi camera module it will function as a server with a smart IP camera, capable of operating as a stand-alone System for demos, operator response recording, and more, or as part of a larger system.

 Note: Audio is not supported for the Raspberry Pi camera.
