DW Spectrum User Manual

The following user settings can be modified, usually only by an Administrator or the System Owner:

Enabled – A quick toggle for any user except Owner. A user cannot disable himself. See "Disabling/Enabling Users".

Login – Can be changed for all users except Owner. Viewers cannot change their own login.

Name – Can be changed for any user.

Email – Can be entered or changed for any user.

Password – Can be changed for any user except Owner. Any user can change their own password.

Role (Admin only) – Access rights can be changed for any user except Owner. A user cannot change their own Role.

To Change User Settings and Role

Desktop Client

1.Open the User Settings dialog using one of these methods:

Open Main Menu > User Management and click on a specific user name in the Users tab.

Open Main Menu > User Management and hover over a specific user name in the Users tab and click the edit icon.

Right-click on a user in the Resource Tree and choose User Settings.

2.Modify the desired fields (roles, credentials, etc.).

3.Apply Changes.

! IMPORTANT: Login and password are case sensitive.

Web Admin / Cloud Portal

1.Open Settings > Users and select a user.

2.Modify the desired fields (roles, credentials, etc.).

3.Apply changes.
